Belonging is GOOD Business
IAIP is a trade association open to professionals in the insurance and risk management industries. IAIP is best known for insurance education, skills enhancement and leadership development within the insurance industry. There are over 6,000 members belong to local associations across the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, and other countries.
The San Francisco Insurance Professionals chapter is a group that includes insurance company personnel, retail and wholesale brokers, attorneys, claims personnel, surety professionals, and accountants, all committed to education and professional development. The association is open to anyone in the insurance and risk management fields, and the organizations that serve our industry (Auto Body Shops, Restoration Companies; Premium Finance, etc.) and provides mentors and role models, practical tools and information needed to succeed and the motivation and support to accomplish your goals.
Our local association was initially formed in 1933 as the "San Francisco Insurance Women's League". We affiliated with the National Association of Insurance Women in June 1949. General luncheon meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month, except for months with special events (May IAIP Week Luncheon, June Installation, October Industry Luncheon and our Holiday Luncheon in December).
